Bharat Mata row: Kerala CM notifies Raj Bhavan that it can only display national symbols at Governor’s functions

Amid the ongoing controversy over displaying the Bharat Mata portrait during official functions at the Raj Bhavan in Kerala, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, in a letter to the Governor, has expressed displeasure over the row, India Today reported.

According to the report, Vijayan, in his letter to Governor Rajendra Arlekar, mentioned that the use of Bharat Mata images was “not in line with the Constitution” at official events.
